RFX Messaging

Communication is with our internal messaging system. Our messaging is only for Listings, which means initial contact is specific to the equipment or services that are listed. This keeps the conversation down to a single message thread per interested contact. A new message is initiated when the buyer selects what they want to discuss or buy from the seller.  Within RFX and RFB, only subscribed sellers can initiate a connection to an RFX/RFB listing for more information or to submit quotes and proposals to the buyers.

Members can prioritize these messages or remove them. Also, either party can exit a conversation without the other party being able to send further messages.

For end users,  when you start a conversation with a seller, you are anonymous by default, and you can display your name and contact info with the press of a button at any time.

The example below has an end user messaging a seller known as Ftwo Logsiticals.  The buyer is on the left side, the seller on the right. The Seller will see your name similar to what is shown "1EU-Oct16"
Messages are date-stamped and provide a status showing Sent or Read.
